hi
we use two britax romer vario lap belt cushions in both the stag and in the rear facing seat in the estate i think they still make them . they make a lap belt as safe as a three point belt IMO

I fitted rear seat belts to my estate the same way as colin has, and i also fitted a rear facing seat to make it a 7 seater for my twin girls when they were younger leg room was a bit limited but the conversion worked well . before any one says it sounds dodgy illegal etc it was a approved ...

The oldest mk2 pi is down here in sunny
devon its H reg and it was for sale its all original laural green and unrestored and goes very well indeed!. i think the early ones had the tr5 cam.By the way its not mine.

on my stromburgs i had a leak and it was from the O rings inside the float chamber attached to the brass jet .They are easy to relpace just unscrew the whole jet from the float chamber.I bought the O rings from b&q been on for 4 years and no probs since

my stag was supposed to be in the body shop 8 weeks and a year later i got it back .I think car body workers are related to builders

dont do what i did and put the contaminated brake shoes on a baking tray in the oven gas mk6 to burn off brake fluid. The wife gets a bit miffed and the house gets a bit smelly

yes i would agree i had a mk 2 2500tc with pas and the 16" wheel and the steering was over light
much better with the mk2 stag , 2500s 14" diameter wheel
