Battery clamp

Hi all,

I'm after a battery clamp for a late Mk1.

Mine is quite bent and rusty.

I know CW does a nice looking stainless one — but I'd rather an original steel painted one.

I know its your decision but can I ask why do you want or need a stronger engine mounting? I have had Triumphs for 35 years and some for nearly 30 years and have never had cause through failure (or because of the MOT man's wishes) to replace an engine mounting!

You obviously haven't replaced any ...

I have a silly high compression ratio with my engine — granted the cam has plenty of overlap — but the standard starter works totally fine.

Have to admit that the straights are fairly long at Silverstone and I expect they cool down between corners enough

It's my tyres that were going off — after a couple of laps they were all over the place.

I really need to get the remote IR temp sensors installed so I can see what's ...

Another test of my HiSpec brake set up at Silverstone a couple of weeks ago — hammered them everywhere — no fade.

They're reasonably easy to refurbish with not much but a bit of sandpaper — assuming that you haven't melted any plastic.

The sidelight switch is the same as the headlights — it's the outside part of the switch that is different.

More over — if you've got a Mk1 — easy peasy to install some relays ...
