After going out with a tape measure into the parents Mazda, 22" does seem to give me enough room. Hopefully this should all work out in person.. Thank you!

Ah that hopefully should be fine then - I'm probably going to take out the original seats and fit new runners, I'm tempted to fit some AC Cobra style seats/Sparco/Corbeau in with fixed runners, should do the trick. Thank you. Heard the MK1 seats are nice and wide and comfy?

It's a pretty good driving position for shorties like me, really, legs straight, arms bent - comfy

I didn't mean it like that haha! I'm sorry if I have offended! For me it's more wedged in, arms forward and bent, crampled, legs up at my ears and with the odd person outside wondering why I'm in such a small machine..

not sure how old you are but im 33. with the seat rigt back you should fit very nicely. and you can adjust the steering wheel up and down too. very comfy cars.

Only adjust on Mk2
