Remember this well, thought at the time how nice it was of Amanda & Colin to put us all up.....
Don't forget Colin's also digging an inspection pit. Could be space in there too!
Cheers,
Mike.

Ah but think it COULD be filled by something
No matter how much room you have you always manage to fill it.
I'm sure anyone passing us for the National next year will be more than welcome to stop off on the way.......for refreshments, if anyone wants accommodation you better speak to Amanda.
Good luck with that one
To try and get the thread back on track, we are really looking forward to next year's National (as we always do) and can't wait to get the booking form in December's SIXappeal.
Only 213 sleeps to go

At 12' long and 5'4" deep there could be room for you in there with me Mike if Amanda ever sees comments like that. She has already mentioned the advantages of having your own burial plot in the garage

Could be worse, she could have you digging winter ground ready for a patio!

Are you sure it's not an indoor swimming pool?
Well, that was my comment to Colin at the NEC. My only experience with a pit was when I dug one at the previous house when we extended the garage. Despite the careful plastic lining under the brickwork, it still filled up with water after about 6-9 months. And of course, now with the lining the water couldn't get back out again. I found a boat bilge pump quite effective. And waders.
Still, I did get to use it once before it became waterlogged!
Colin, I promise not to tell Amanda as long as you don't breath a word too!
Cheers,
Mike.
