Hello all,

not really 'rare' but it's a while since I've seen one on the road, a very presentable red TR 7 this morning. Looks an everyday car also, so I may see it again?

I pass a very smart black Jaguar XJS every day and, although not rare, I pass a black MGB also every day. They are both going in the opposite direction to me...

I used to see a Rover SD1 Vitesse every day too, but have not seen it for a long time now.

Very nice Ken, did you feel like a stock car driver or saloon car racer?

When does a certain metallic green TVR engined beast arrive on antipodean shores?

As yesterday was "drive it day" there was more chance than usual to see rare cars, but two that caught my eye were a Ford Anglia that looked like it had just been driven out of a Ford dealer in about 1962 and the second was a Panhard. Not sure of the exact model, but it was the one that looks vaguely like a Renaul Dauphine. I don't recall seeing one of those on the road since I was a nipper.

Panhard Dyna or PL17? - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panhard_Dyna_Z

Don't know that I've ever seen one outside old French films...!

As Kevin will testify, we saw some of these in a fantastic car museum when on the easter trip to France last year. I think they are a fantastic looking car and along with a Dauphine they would be in my personal classic car collection (lottery win allowing!)
