Nearly all remanufactured rubber stuff is practically useless. Why cant they make it like they could 50 years ago - I will never understand.

Also, did you say the diff whined a bit? They often do, as do the manual gearboxes. Don't let anyone tell you that it's normal though. It's not a big issue as long as they are kept topped up with oil but good ones should be silent. It makes a good bargaining point. Budget on a couple of hundred ...

still having douts about this car , I emailed Yorkshire Triumphs last night but have had no reply , I may phone them , harder for them to avoid me this way

Thanks for the info , living without jacking points isnt as you say much of an issue , Imps havnt got any on the body so as im used to this never even noticed the lack of them on the Triumph ...

"that'll do" job,

I wonder if Yorkshire Triumph really does understand these cars? If they fitted ...

Got a bit more info , car was restored by Yorkshire Triumph in may 06 , ive got the phone number and will look on their site , this is far more reasuring i think as its done by someone who understands these cars

. The most important bit is the bodywork. All the mechanical bits and bobs, engine, gearbox, suspension and even trim and interior are available second hand or even new/reconditioned and are reasonable in price. :)
