Drive It Day 2015 is on Sunday April 26th. This is your opportunity to get your Triumph out for possibly its first outing of the season and promote the classic car movement by basically driving your Triumph on the roads where the public can admire them! We have regularly supported this for the last few years, and this year the Lancashire Group are planning a run to meet up with the Cumbria Triumph saloons who are travelling south from the Penrith area to meet us near Keswick for an afternoon pub lunch and a raffle / quiz (and no doubt a natter about our cars!).
Any classic car can join us - the more the merrier!
Please get in touch if you require more info etc.

is anyone thinking of doing something in the West Country area. I'll definately be out and about but not quite sure what I'll be doing.

Drive It Day 2015 for the Lancashire Group and the Cumbria Triumph saloons was a resounding success!! Beautiful weather, stunning countryside and a combined 11 Triumphs, 1 Jeep and 1 Rover! From the reaction of the public in the villages we passed through, our presence was certainly noticed, with a definite positive result! During the day, we saw a good number of other classic cars, which was good, all helping the cause!!
A detailed report will hopefully appear in June's SixAppeal!

Sadly we were otherwise booked up for drive-it day this year. In our trip (M40-M25-M11-A120-A12-A14 and return) we saw 2 TRs (4a or 5 I think) and something which flew past us on our return which I think was a Ginetta. Apart from those 3 all we saw was modern jelly-mould cars.
Well done to everyone else who got out and enjoyed themselves.
Must try and be better organised next year!
Cheers,
Mike.

Did a tour to Hastings in the PI for fish and chips with the East Kent group. First outing since 5th October in it to my shame. Big grin all day apart from when I realised that I had lost a wheel trim. (Stag one, 14" wheels).

Drove (not in a Triumph!) to Gaydon and had a 2000 Register Board Meeting. By the time we had finished, everyone else had gone!
Not exactly brilliant timing!
