Soo. Does anyone have a rough idea as to how many if these lovely cars are left? And of which ones, 2000/2500/pi ? It'd be interesting to know.

It's a great site that I've looked at several times before but it doesn't seem to distinguish between saloons and estates.

Howmanyleft is an interesting website with some useful information and is a credit to the person who owns it. However it doesn't seem highly reliable, judging from the (other than Triumph) data that I viewed a few weeks ago. I'd be inclined to use it more for general interest than as a dependable source of information.

Mk1/2 COULD be ROUGHLY determined by clicking on 'years',which breaks it down to year of manufacture I would of thought? But as David commented it is a good site although vague, but to no fault of the site itself, more 'the logbook'! Mine,as an example,is an 'S',but on the logbook it is typed 2500 TC AUTO

. Incidently,i have wondered in the past why the site does not distinguish between saloon and estate,if it takes the info direct from the logbook as it were,as my logbook does clarify it is an Estate bodyshell.

Although an intersting site I would dare say it is not upto date.............
There will be loads of cars stored away that have not been declared sorned extra.........
I am doing a MK1 PI database and currently have nearly 30 cars on it.

thats an eye opener Lee,- just 30 Mk1 PIs!. I appreciate its just the cars you are aware of but still it aint many.., are all the known cars runners?, ie with MoT and used or does this include SORN.
I heard there were only around 300 running/road legal Mk1 2000s, not sure how accurate that figure is tho,
cheers,
Laurence
