Hi All
Looking for some bits for my '78 2500S Estate re-commissioning project that I bought back in April.
Anyone got any of this:
• Interior roof light lense for the rear estate load area
• Any of the rear estate load area trim cards in tan - especially the small trim panel that goes in the corner opposite side to the one that has the spare wheel compartment key holder on (it is missing on the car)
• Door trim panels in tan (the very light beige)
• Brown carpet for the load area
• Spare wheel compartment cover
• 2500S rear badge in good condition
• rear drivers side quarter bumper
• Rubber trim that fixes on the bumpers
PM me if you have any of the above or know where I might find them
Many thanks
Charlie

Having broken a couple of estates in the past, I might have some of the bits you want.
I'll try and have a look over the weekend.
Cheers,
Mike.

Leslie Rowsell from near Frome in Somerset has been selling a whole load of spares though the amount is dwindling, but including much of what you want . I had some stuff when I went there on my round trip (using the Mk2 estate of course

) to see CW and did collect extra tan stuff though I really needed black.
All the proceeds go to charity - details in Six Appeal last year or this - so well worth supporting him.
Phone number is 01373 467069 and e-mail is
leslie.rowsell@yahoo.co.uk
Be quick if contacting him because he is going away again soon for a few weeks.
On the matter of the spare wheel compartment cover you are better off making a new one using a piece of marine ply and covering it with new carpet. Apart from being stronger that the original stuff it is difficult to find decent ones. Carefully pull the rubber strip out of alumium protection strips, remove by drilling out the pop rivets, pop rivet onto the new board, fiddle the rubber strip back in (sounds easy but it is not .... our Chairman is the expert

).

Hi Everyone, many thanks for all your replies - PMs / emails sent.
If I manage to get all these bits it will keep me busy while the engine is out (Despite only covering 50k miles it has a piston ring sticking on number 4 plus it gives me a chance to fit an unleaded head and GT6 cam - I guess 17 years without being turned over has taken it's toll)
With reference to the spare load cover - I had thought of making one also out of marine ply also - it should be considerably stronger and I can probably get it to fit better also!
Cheers again
Charlie

The rear interior light lens was available at Earlpart a couple of months ago.
