I am converting my Mk 2 Pi from auto to Manual gearbox. Can you use a TR6 Master and slave cylender?

I just finished converting my Mk1 from Auto to 4 spd OD. Im not sure about the TR6 parts, but I ended up using a Stag (same as TR6 I believe) slave cylinder from james paddock with a TR4 adjustable pushrod, and managed to source a correct 2000 clutch master cylinder from Ebay in the USA. The seller had several of them and the price was reasonable. If I had to do it over again, I would probably source a Stag clutch master cylinder as one wouldnt have to rebuild the NOS unit sourced from Ebay(it outlasted the generator, but still only got about 20 miles on it before it failed).
My only concerns would be are the bores the same in the stag and the 2000? I do know the 2000 range the clutch master threaded port points up, while the stag goes out the end.

Why not source the correct bits from the usual suppliers ,Rimmers, Witor or Canleys ? Then you'll know it will work !

You can make anything fit. TR6 is fine. Small bore slaves (7/8" ) are always available. The later 1" don't give so much travel, and can lead to a dragging / sticking clutch. So .... as Ken advises .... use a LandRover master cylinder. This has got to be one of the best modifications which cures all the clutch problems.
