Another 2000 bites the dust......

#1 Post by owen1183 »

Did anybody watch 24 last night??

The bad guys in last nights episode had, in their compliment of vehicles, a Triumph 2000!!

I spotted it and pointed it out to the mrs (which prompted the reply "you sad b@stard!")

anyway, at this point Jack Bauer was locked in battle with the the enemy, exchanging lead.....

Then he throw a stick on dynamite...... right under the 2000!!!! My mouth dopped as the 2000 left the ground under the power of the explosion...... Gutted!!!

thats going to be a little more than a weekend resto project!!!!

Well, Kiefer was probably having trouble removing his track rod end. Not having a ball joint splitter on him at the time, he decided to use what was available.
I dunno, he could have just called someone from the Register, I'm sure they would have helped him out.

The telly is often on but the only programme I really watch is Hollyoaks.

Even so, I was sure I caught a glimpse of a 2000 on the screen last night, that would explain it.

We have an ad on telly (New Zealand)... can't remember what it's for, but it has a woman driving around in her red MKII Triumph.

Seems even more worrying that he 'only' watches Hollyoaks !
Not sure if a Triumph being blown up is good or bad publicity !

Where is this scene supposed to be set? (I don't get 24 anymore, watched the first two series on BBC then of course it switched to Sky, most inconvenient!)
