Just a few words of great thanks to the main organisers of this years National at Bamburgh, Sue and Ant Watson, with Dave and Christine Ferguson. It was a fantastic week, well organised, on a superb site in a beautiful part of the country! The weather held up, and was generally warm and sunny (if only a little breezy in exposed parts of the site..); the only rain being during Monday and Friday night and then Saturday evening, but as the main day had finished, it didn't really matter!! Really enjoyed the Beamish trip, and the convoy run (can I say that?!?) to Holy Island, and the 'Castle' run around the area! A great line up of cars on the Saturday (complimented by two lovely Stags - thanks Jonathan and Peter!), and good company all round!
What more can I say? Except many thanks again for all the hard work!
John W.

Many thanks for your reply and explanations. It was a shame we missed each other on the Friday, but that is history now. And Alan has picked up that there is room for improvement in dealing with day visitors, so hopefully that will be addressed before next year. Maybe a 'Welcome Pack' for day visitors is needed, but I think they need to be sent out before the event, as for a day visitor it can be 'too late' by the time you get there.
As for the bucket and contents, no that was not mine, all my kit is present and accounted for.
Thanks again for all your efforts, and to all the team, especially Sue!

Another great national,Jan and I both loved it,thanks to all organisers.Looking forward to next time, and meeting all our friends again.
853 miles covered this time,on one of CW diaphrams,it has cured back ache from longish journeys
in Cecil, which used to be worse the following morning.
So all in all a great time ,many thanks.
Bill.

Echo all the above, had a great time in Northumberland, (well you would, wouldn't you with three ladies looking after you

). Excellent venue, nice cars & even nicer people! Well done to all those who made the journey from the lower half of the country, and from further afield. Sorry for all you that couldn't or wouldn't, you missed a cracker!
Dave.

So much to do and so much to see, we really could have quite easily spent a second week there. Really nice site, fantastic caravan (sorry - got told off at reception for calling it a "caravan" - they are "holiday homes"), everything well organised, not too regimented, just properly organised. There was a fair turn out from the extreme south of the country as well - well worth the journey. And of course, a great bunch of people to spend a week with. With a car that has averaged around 1500 miles a year since new, we put nearly a year's mileage onto OPaL, but what is the point of having a car if not to use it?
Thanks to everyone who was involved in the organisation and for making it happen.
Kevin

I arrived home earlier this afternoon finishing my 1,145.4 mile journey up to the national and back via a few stops and detours up and down. Just as well I increased the miles on my limited mileage policy when I renewed earlier in the year.
I'd also like to add my thanks to everyone involved for a wonderful national.Definitely worth the trip up although wish I could have spent more time there.

Not my bucket I'm afraid!
What a great, relaxing time we had.June enjoyed it,the pup enjoyed it and I enjoyed it!
Just a pity we did not have more time to do more, although,if the truth be known, the relaxation was well needed!
Just to mirror previous comments, tremendous job of organising all that was going on,wonderful site and surrounding area, great "holiday home".
A big thanks from us all for the attention to detail, not to be forgotten.
Here's to next year!
June and Bill (and Emma)
