Concours entry rules published in the last issue of Sixappeal. Entry forms on the day, on the field and entered by 9.30 I think. Must have V5, Mot and insurance certificate and must have current tax disc. All docs to be shown on the day.
Of course, you must be a club member to enter!

We are hoping to leave the site for Lindesfarne by 09:30. I would like to get a photo of the cars coming over the causeway. We need to be off the island by 13:00 otherwise we will be stuck there until 19:00!

Thanks Alan and anth.w.
If we join you on Friday morning we would meet you at the car parking area at the start of the causeway, if that is OK with you? Maple Brown 2500TC KGF231N. We will be there by about 0930, so hopefully won't miss you.
I have seen the Concours Guidelines in Six Appeal, but there is no mention of time or how to enter, hence my question earlier. Now I know, thanks Alan.

All the full info is in your welcome pack, but usually the forms need to be in and car in place before 9.30/10 usually.
I don't think there is much 3G signal up there otherwise I could check and post the exact requirements when we get there Friday pm.

Thanks again Alan. I don't have a 'Welcome pack' , just my day tickets. Presumably I will receive a welcome pack when I arrive, which hopefully will be on Friday after Lindesfarne, but of course we are not staying overnight, with a comfortable bed at home just 20 minutes away!
I intend to be there early on Saturday, so hope that my entry for the Concours will be accepted.

hi there, this is my third attempt to post this as I keep losing connection and the post disappears into the ether! I thought I had managed to post it last night but as I can't see it I can only assume that it got lost again
There should be a designated car parking area for the 2000 register at Beamish as we have arranged a group booking at a reduced entrance fee. We have recommended people to leave the site at approx. 09:30 so we should arrive at Beamish somewhere around 10:30. People can then spend as much time in Beamish or its surrounding attractions as they wish.
Lindesfarne; There has been further discussions about this and we are now hoping to 'corral' everyone at approx. 08:30 for a 09:00 start from here. obviously we won't be running in convoy on the road but hopefully depending on the A1 traffic we should be arriving at the end of the Causeway sometime around 09:15. We can then reform for a procession across the causeway having persuaded someone to position themselves to take some photographs. As I said before we need to leave the island before 13:00 to beat the tides.

Hi All,
Beamish: Cars will be leaving site from 09:30. We will all be meeting at Beamish by 11:00 so we can take advantage of the group booking rates. Hopefully Beamish will have a dedicated parking area for us as promised.
hope to see you there
