The quarter light seals you refer to - do you mean the front or rear?
The rears are easy enough to remove, just remove the wood trim, the screws and white interior surround, and then carefully push from the outside in. They are sealed with a very gooey sealant, but will move ok, and won't break due their relatively small size. The seal just sits around the glass. They need resealing on refitting.
If it's the fronts, then that is more difficult. You need to remove the whole quarter light assembly from the door, but the main problem is getting the seal to both sides of the quarter light - the hinge is the issue, and although I have never done it, it seems that the only way is to separate the hinge and then replace the stainless hinge rivet.
Maybe someone who has actually replaced the front quarter light seals may be able to help further.
