My personal view would be that the half wings will always be better than the wheelarch repairs as they will afford more access to the areas normally inaccessible. This will allow rust prevention/removal in the inner wing, arch bowl, inside of the remaining outer wing areas, as well as the ends of the front panel, the radiator support panel and the closing panels at the end of the support panel. Much easier than trying to do this via a small slit all around the arch.

as promised, here are the pics of the repair panels in no particular order, all are self explanatory, but if you have any questions, just shout.
mk1 rear panels will be the same as the mk2, but follow mk1 contours, i couldnt fit the mk1 rear and front in the car upon last vist to manufacturer, so hence no pics, but prices will be as near as dam it the same as the mk2's.
i have the front inner outer arch bowls, ( thanks david cowie ) but have yet to get them to the manufacturer for a price, and waiting on confirmation on borrowing the rear ones, allowing me to do the same.
CAN'T UPLOAD THE DOWNLOADED PICS, keeps telling me ' the extention is not allowed '

still awaiting prices for the mk2 7/8th front wing, floor pans complete with part upswept bulkhead and part of arch bowl !!!!, and mk1 front wings
