Do you still get the Unipart Samson battery? I bet they regretted that "lifetime guarantee" thing!
Does anyone know what the record is for the most replacement Samson batteries collected under warranty? Bet it's into double figures....

Samson is discontinued and has been for donkey's years. They have a lighter 3038 in it's place with not such a good guarantee. Whilst I have "The" guarantee it is, maybe, not worth all the hassle.
