Kevin,the spade terminals you need are 4.8mm in size.If you have a problem locating them,give me a call,I'll drop some in the post to you.Good luck,Bill.

Thanks, Bill - I needed to top up the wiring bits box, so got a bag of 50 terminals from VWP for pennies, really. Hopefully, I can now get Mr Lucas's ghost out of my boot!

Hi Kevin,

Actually, they are 3/16", (the 'usual' ones bing 1/4"). I have loads here, all crimp types. If you're stuck let me know and I'll pop some in the post....

Thanks for the offers. Mr Lucas's ghost has now been evicted and with all the earth's properly bonded not only are all the lights equally bright on both sides, the flashers flash at the correct rate!

How very different to the wiring of the 2000 which is still as it left the factory - the lamp holders are still like new and its easy to tell the colour of the cable without resorting to a bit of switch cleaner to remove the dirt.
