Can't see the attraction personally....I do like originality, I know, and as such I can't see the problem with the original rocker cover ....especially at that price!!

Is that because its difficult to attach the injector pipes to the top of the cover.

Never had a real problem on my old PI, just needs to be removed carefully from under the injection pipes.
I also put sleeving around the pipes as they go over the cover to stop chafing and heat transfer.

The rocker cover gasket is fitted using the Range Rover method of sticking the cork gasket to the cover with evostick (I use spray stuff and a bit of masking) then thin smear of grease between gasket and head. Easy to re-use same gasket quite a few times as being cast aluminium puts even pressure on the gasket - just don't tighten up to tight, just enough to seal.

These covers are the ultimate bling 8) and I have one on Woody (bought from Italy) and was given one for AFH 20 years ago. Mind you there are the two that a couple of thieving b*st*rds from Bedford and Caister on Sea sold me but never delivered

They are also good for anyone who wants to put a bling rocker cover on their Spit6/GT6 as there can be bonnet clearance issues sometimes if you use the more square TR6/2500 alloy rocker cover...
