Hey guys,
Does anybody have a diagram of how the heater piping should be configured on a 2500 TC showing rubber and steel lines? I need to redo all of mine along with the other cooling system components as they are all clogged with brown crap.
The way they are set up at the moment seems very convoluted and I'm not sure if it is the original setup.
Also when removing the water pump, i snapped off a hose that was connected between a t piece/sensor and the top of the water pump housing. The side of the T with the sensor in it just fell away due to corrosion. What is this sensor for? I don't think it was doing much due to the wires being half disconnected and secondly due to that line being completely blocked by corrosion. Can i just remove the sensor all together and run a hose straight off the steel pipe to the water pump housing?
Pic attached and the car is an Aus delivered 76 model with power steering and A/C.
Any help is appreciated.

my 2500 doesnt have the t piece or sensor there just the pipe, the water temp sender is fitted in the opposite site of the water pump housing on my car, may be the sensor controled a electric cooling fan in the past
