Another MkI up for grabs.

#1 Post by Dave B »

Just spotted this, may be of interest to somone............

Looks tidy enough at a glance, and comes with a good portion of MOT, looks like Mk2 seats though.

Isn't that Bob Maddock's old car, the one he sold to buy STR11H?

I'm sure it was his, he had it between the blue MKI he has now, and the yellow MKII saloon.

Was a very nice car when I last saw it about 3 years ago.

Pity about the mk11 seats though.

First Easter trip we went on with the Register Bob used that car, he had all black 4 spoke revolutions on it then.
Mk1 vinyl seats (what it should have) are possibly easier to get hold of than the mk2 ones in it now. Certainly harder wearing. White is also an exterior colour that you could almost fit any interior colour to. Black, red, blue, tan or cactus.

Yes it is Bib's and thought I recognised the number plate..................

My friend and I went down to see the car originally long befor Bob bought it but it needed repairs and I did tell Bob about this but I believe it was after his purchase.......... :(

Personally, I would not buy it and probably for same reasons Bob sold it....?

Cracking interior, that owner before Bob had retrimmed..................so wonder where the Black Mk1 trim gone now?
So the car as had two owners before Bob................

Gary.....................know don't!!!!!!!!
