I get the impression from the ebay listing that it is an 'honest' car and very good value.

You may need some parts and advice in due course, from established owners of the 2000/2500 range. Best to join the Register as that encourages other members to offer lots of advice, and often to let parts go at very low prices!

Whether or not you join, I'm sure you have the best wishes of all of us here for a long and happy relationship with your new car.

Hi Lee and welcome, we get together with other Triumph nuts at Sandhills Tavern, Mansfield Road Underwood Nottingham on the last Monday of each month from 19:00 (next meeting 29/8/2011). It's a Club Triumph meeting actually but it's usually a good turnout with CT, TSSC and Register members attending. Usually 3 or 4 big saloons there, us, Lee Godfrey, Dave Harvey, Steve Burrows. good friendly atmosphere too.
If you fancy a trip a bit further the Register meet twice a month near Doncaster at a pub called the Crown, they do very nice (and very reasonable) food too so you can get your tea there before hand if you like.

For all you lot around Nottingham way can I must remind you about the Manchester Standard Triumph Groups annual show on the 25th September which this year will be going back to the Churnet Valley Railway nr Leek, Staffordshire. I think its only about an hour away from Notts. It's always a good day and exhibitors get a couple free tickets for a ride on the steam train.

Anyone wanting to attend needs to PM me their full name, car details and reg number plus a contact telephone number so I can get you booked in. Part of the site is being redeveloped this year so we are a little more limited on numbers than in the past.
