Well I enjoyed my day, even though I have backache (from standing up all day) a sore throat (from talking all day), congratulations to Colin and Amanda for such a good stand. And thanks for the drinks and cakes all day, Amanda certainly knows how to look after people!

Had a great time, really pleased the register got the recognition it deserves, and new members too!

If we keep this up the big saloons will take over!

Good to talk to everyone who came up and looked at the car, and thanks for the encouragement and comments.

Stan and Standman had a fantastic day yesterday too, many thanks to Colin and Amanda for putting on such an excellent show. The stand was amazing and really made the Register the centre of attention.

The tea and cakes were great and I enjoyed myself hugely talking almost non stop about my car!!

The award was well deserved and I can't wait until next time!

Deep joy! Goodlibilode

Oh no, is it repairable/recoreable Rob or was it the top tank part?

I believe Lee had some exhaust issues on the way home too.

I hope you and your Dad won't hold that against us in the future!

Colin

Yep...................exhaust broke and think may have lost some transmission fluid................ :(

Was cruising along M1 behind Dave Harvey, with a TR6 in tow.when couple of our mates went flying past in Dave's old mk1 2000 and two injected Spitfires.Dave went in pursuit and I proceeded to follow then puff of smoke out the back and I thought the worst!.Pulled over onto hard shoulder and I then found the exhaust broke :( .I knew it was on it's way and have a semi sports from Mr Witor to fit.
I came off the M1 and went on less busier roads and then autobox decided to play up and not sure if it was coincidental that it as blew it's fluid along with exhaust going or if the fluid level is just low.
Will ivestigate at weekend........................
