Went for a nice drive over to Dunedin and back. Car ran flawlessly like usual, but noticed how much petrol has gone up lately. Was a bit naughty here and there and may've gone over the speed limit sometimes!

Mine has Edelbrock manifold with Holley 390 carby and it all fits under the bonnet without cutting etc! Can't tell you much more though, as I didn't do the conversion and am no mechanic.

Since he's still got the original carbs you could always ask if he wants to sell the webers seperately for your "S". No good for me though, my Triumph has a V8.

I have those Datsun shafts on my car! Didn't realise they were going for that sort of money though...
