Using the site
The primary purposes of this site are:
- To provide information and articles of interest to owners and enthusiasts of the Triumph 2000 family of cars, Triumph 2000 Register club members and the general public.
- To provide a gateway to other Triumph 2000 Register services such as the online shop, the public and private forums and membership services.
Registering or subscribing to the site
There are two distinctly separate functional areas of the site:
- The main website (https://www.triumph2000register.co.uk) – contains news, articles, information, classified ads, events diary, membership information, personnel information and so on. The main website also now hosts the online membership joining areas.
- The forum (https://www.triumph2000register.co.uk/phpBB3)- a public forum or message board.
The bulk of the site content can be accessed and enjoyed without registration, however there are parts of the site, and aspects of its functionality, than can only be used fully with a registered identity. An example of this is the forum, most of which can be viewed without registration, whilst replying to or starting topics is limited to those with registered IDs.
Each of the separate functional areas requires a separate registration identity. In the case of the main website and the forum, all that is required is a valid email address, a user name and a password. For making purchases (i.e. buying or renewing membership packages), you will need full contact details. See the individual parts of the site for more details.
Members of the Triumph 2000 / 2500 / 2·5 Register who have registered IDs on any area of the site, will have access to pages and forums that are not visible to non-members. Members who wish to have their IDs verified need to email the webmaster with their membership number, name and address.
