Terms and Conditions of use of the Triumph 2000 Register Shop

Note: ‘I, We, Us, Our, Ours, Shop, The Register’ refers to The Triumph 2000 Register Shop and/or The Triumph 2000 Register Limited; ‘You, Your, Yours’ refers to the purchaser.

Delivery Information

Like all services of the Triumph 2000/2500/2.5 Register, this shop is staffed, administered and maintained entirely by unpaid volunteers. We do our very best to respond to our customers as quickly as possible, but ask that you please be patient with us while we process memberships, order goods and reply to queries.

The Triumph 2000 Register Shop endeavours to deliver your order within 15 working days. Our target delivery for UK held stock is 3-5 working days, however, any delivery times which we indicate to you (unless specifically agreed) are given as an estimate only and delivery times can never be guaranteed.

If you require delivery information on an order placed with us, please contact us quoting your order reference and we will endeavour to assist you. All products, including membership cards, are sent via standard Royal Mail postage and as such tracking is not possible, though we will inform you by email when a product is dispatched.

PLEASE NOTE – Clothing: The current range continues to be popular with its generous sizing and good quality embroidery. Only sufficient stock is held to display style, fit and colour and for direct sale at shows. So, if you are confident about your requirements but don’t expect to attend any shows then simply order online and the product will either be sent direct from ourselves if held or sent directly by the supplier.

If you have concerns about stock levels or delivery times please contact us about this before placing your order, we will be able to give you more detailed information about where from and when your item/s will be shipped.

Warranty & Returns:

Distance Selling Regulations (DSR)

We adhere to the EU Distance Selling Regulations Directive implemented in UK law. The full details of these rights are available in this document (PDF, 131 KB), but briefly, this gives you the right to cancel the order within 7 (seven) days from the receipt of the goods. You must give notice to us, in writing (either letter or email), that you wish to cancel the order, then you must return the goods to us in a saleable condition within 14 days of receipt of the goods, taking reasonable care that the goods are packaged appropriately to avoid damage in transit. You must pay the cost of delivery back to us. We will refund the value of the goods and the original postage and packing cost that we charged you when you ordered the goods, within 30 days of the cancellation of the order. This applies to both Membership Packages and Physical Goods.

About Membership Packages:

The Membership fee (i.e. the amount you pay when you purchase one of our Membership packages) pays in advance for one calendar year of Register Membership and is non-refundable (except within the terms of the DSR stated above). You can resign your membership at any time by writing to Membership Secretary, The Triumph 2000 Register, Karibuni, Bath Road, Padworth, READING RG7 5HR or by sending an email to membership@triumph2000register.co.uk, but part or full refunds cannot be given after the 7 day cooling-off period.

When purchasing a Membership Package as a new or rejoining member, you are applying to join or rejoin the Triumph 2000/2500/2.5 Register. The Triumph 2000/2500/2.5 Register is a private members’ club, and as such the Board of Directors reserve the right to refuse membership applications. If membership is subsequently refused after a Membership Package has been purchased online, the membership fee will be refunded in full.

Damaged or faulty Physical Goods

All products are chosen based on their high quality designs and durability, so the quality is guaranteed.

All products are guaranteed by a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects.
All goods dispatched are checked for quality, including checks of the appearance of the goods.

We aim to communicate openly, promptly, and carefully with all customers in relation to issues with received goods. The 12 month warranty period begins on receipt of the goods

This does not affect your statutory rights.

The Returns Process for Physical Goods:

  1. Contact us detailing the order number, product name/item code, and nature of the problem.
  2. We reply, authorising the return and providing instruction of how and where to return the goods.
  3. You return the goods to us within taking reasonable care to ensure they are not damaged in transit.
  4. On receipt of the faulty goods they will be examined to determine whether the goods were faulty due to manufacturing fault/defect or whether they have been damaged through misuse.
  5. If it is determined that the goods were faulty/defective due to manufacturing error we shall dispatch a replacement as per normal orders. If a replacement or a suitable alternative is not available a full refund will be issued. If it is determined that the fault of the goods was caused by reason of your misuse or negligence, we will inform you of this and we will return the goods to you at your cost or dispose of the goods at your instruction. If you do not elect within 28 days to have the goods returned to you or disposed of, we will dispose of the goods.

Is the Triumph 2000 Register Shop website secure?

All online monetary transactions are handled externally by PayPal, using their industry-standard secure payment servers and is therefore fully secure. When you’ve finished adding items to your shopping basket, clicking the checkout button will take you through the process of telling us your name, address and other contact details, give you a summary of your order and then ask you to confirm your order. At this point the system will automatically divert you away from our site and over to the secure PayPal payment zone. You will enter your private financial details here in a secure environment. You do not need a PayPal account to do this, but if you do have one you will usually be asked if you want to process the transaction using it – the benefit of this is that you don’t need to enter your card details at all as they are already stored in PayPal’s systems. Even if you do have a PayPal account, but don’t want to use it for this transaction, you will be given this option.

What are the payment options?

We accept a range of credit/debit cards (including; VISA, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Maestro and Delta) all processed via PayPal. Payment via Cheque/Postal Order through the post (UK only) can be arranged but goods will not be shipped until payment has cleared. To arrange payment via Cheque/Postal Order please contact us or see information in the Triumph 2000 Register bi-monthly magazine, SIXappeal.

How much do you charge for delivery?

Delivery for Register Membership Packages is free of charge. For Physical Goods delivery varies according to size, weight and the quantity purchased. To price a delivery please add items to the shopping basket, then click the ‘Shipping Estimator’. Delivery charges will be calculated automatically by the system and added to your order. You can review your order in full before final confirmation.

How long will delivery take?

There is no single answer to this question: Delivery times (like shipping costs) depend entirely on the item/s you order, the size of the order, and the destination. Items shipped directly from ourselves within the UK will usually be delivered within 2-5 working days, though could take as long as 15 working days. Depending on what you order, your goods could arrive within a shorter time.

Why do you need my phone number for delivery?

A valid contact phone number is necessary so that we can contact you if there is a failed delivery. The Triumph 2000 Register Shop will not use this number to contact you for any other reason – it is only to prevent packages being returned undelivered.

Do you deliver to countries outside the UK?

Register Membership Packages will be delivered free of charge, worldwide. For Physical Goods, items purchased from the online shop can be delivered overseas, ensure you put your correct address details into the account form and postage will be calculated according to your location.
