The facilities include a site complete to club members and guests either to camp or caravan. There are also static caravans and log cabins available. There are at present no electricity hook-ups on this area but they intend to add this over the next year.
Included on the site is a shop with well stocked shelves of practically everything needed for the stay, a clubhouse which is to be made available for our Saturday function and the Sunday AGM.
The Site Owners can also arrange entertainment for the Saturday night. There are fishing ponds, sea fishing available, horse riding, quad biking, swimming pool, all weather bowling site and a 9 and 18 hole golf site.
For the Friday night welcome we are in discussions with the Army to provide food as per the Pickering National which was highly successful. They are also willing to supply a food stall for the day of the Show.
We are including information and photos of the site on the attached PDF. Also see the website at www.gillespie-leisure.co.uk
We have explored the area and found ideal places of interest for day trips, further information available as required. The site was found with the help of Virginia and Gary Howlett.
The proposed timetable of activities for the duration of the National and Saturday evening entertainment is in hand and will be announced with the application form.
